Practice Focus: Pain Management, Sports Medicine, IV Therapy, and Medical Aesthetics including Botox, Dermal fillers and Lasers.
We are not hiring college students who are looking for summer employment and experience. We can make exceptions for graduate students in the healthcare field who are looking for part time work.
We are a premier Wellness Center offering comprehensive care across pain management, sports medicine, and aesthetic services. We are seeking a compassionate, kind, and professional Medical Assistant who can also Scribe and be the Front Office Coordinator to support our growing practice. Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Medical Assistant Certification is not required.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is organized, compassionate, and comfortable working in both clinical and administrative roles within a high-quality, integrative care setting. There are opportunities to perform laser hair removal and assist in medical spa and aesthetic treatments for the right candidate if interested.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Keep the office clean, manage the flow of the office, patients and phone calls, monitor and order supplies, communicate with vendors, fax/copy/scan as needed, enter patient information into the computer (EMR).
Medical Assisting:
- Greet and prepare patients for medical evaluations and treatments.
- Assist the physician during procedures and scribe notes directly into the EHR.
- Take vitals, review patient histories, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Draw medications
- Prep and clean exam rooms and treatment areas between patients.
- Medical scribe for the doctor
- Optional Support basic IV therapy setup and MedSpa procedures (training provided if needed).
Administrative & Front Office Duties:
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, medical authorizations.
- Check-in and check-out patients with professionalism and care.
- Maintain a smooth daily patient flow and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Collect co-pays and assist with billing coordination.
- Manage inventory of medical and spa supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills:
- Highly organized, motivated and energetic.
- Excellent communication and phone skills.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines.
- Friendly, yet very professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
- Strong computer and typing skills.
- Ability to multitask.
Preferred Skills (Not Required but Highly Valued):
- Medical certification preferred, but not required
- Experience in a clinical setting and terminology is highly preferred.
- Experience specifically in internal medicine, sports medicine, pain management, medical office, MedSpa, or wellness setting, is highly preferred.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems and scribing is highly preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Hindi).
- Experience or interest in IV therapy, medical aesthetics, or front desk coordination.
- Social media or digital marketing experience for promoting wellness services.
- Licensed Aesthetician or prior experience with lasers and Hydrafacials.
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
